Kim is a Golden Apple Fellow and National Agriscience Ambassador and Teacher of the Year. She earned her BS and Masters Degrees from NMSU in Agriculture and Extension Education.After 20+ years in education she is also an R&R. Retired and Returned. She teaches 7th grade science and agriculture. Kim chartered 2 FFA chapters and spent 12 years at Mayfield High School where she retired. In her year of retirement she worked at Asombro Institute for Science, a non-profit hands-on science education organization where she developed and delivered science to students across SW New Mexico. She enjoys gardening, being with her grandchildren and anything outdoors.
