Jackie Holycross has spent 15 years teaching high school English and math classes to at-risk teenagers in Alamogordo. Before that she taught middle school mathematics for 13 years on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. She loves interacting with students who live and think outside the box. She focuses on building relationships, scaffolding lessons, and making learning relevant. When she is not wrangling teenagers at school, she enjoys time with family, reading, painting, and watching movies.
